The stand not only provided a platform for exchanging ideas about current developments in the Internet industry, but also a networking area with coffee, inviting visitors to socialise and engage in discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow eco organised six panels that highlighted key topics related to digital transformation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Current reporting obligations for data centre operators: <\/strong>Discussion of the challenges and requirements arising from the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hybrid infrastructures between edge &amp; cloud: <\/strong>Discussion of the development of cloud infrastructure services and the role of edge computing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The cloud is becoming decentralised: <\/strong>Insight into the future of the cloud and the importance of decentralised, collaborative data ecosystems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sustainable data centre developments in the Rhineland: <\/strong>Presentation of developments in the region as a future digital location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The network as the nervous system of the cloud: <\/strong>Discussion of modern network concepts and their significance for successful cloud projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Requirements for infrastructure and service providers: <\/strong>Analysis of future requirements for IT infrastructure providers in the context of
